About Ronald Sahmel:As a Certified Public Accountant for more than 30 years, Ronald M. Sahmel has built and maintained a trusted relationship with more than 600 individual, business, and trust clients. Ron began his career as a Certified Public Accountant in 1977 at Considine & Considine in San Diego, California. Within five years he was made partner in the firm, after which he remained for another six years. He then took a position as the Chief Financial Officer of a real estate and development company. In 1994 he and Nick Oliva along with Tom Goddard formed Oliva, Sahmel & Goddard. In 2007 Ron left Oliva, Sahmel, & Goddard to start his own firm Sahmel & Associates, Certified Public Accountants. Sahmel & Associates is a client-focused, full service accounting firm dedicated to providing excellent, on-time, comprehensive taxation, accounting, and financial services in an environment of integrity, loyalty, and respect. Ron is a member of many professional associations and groups including the San Diego Chapter Society of Certified Public Accountants, San Diego Chapter Society of Taxation, Real Estate & Global Opportunities Communities, California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Ron and his wife of 34 years have two children, Nick 32, and Alison 29. His 3 year old grandson Evan is Ron’s best buddy in the world. He has lived in Imperial Beach for 49 years.
