About Gretchen Phillips:When I’m doing hair I almost feel as though I am Oda Mae, you know Whoopi Goldberg’s character in Ghost. I somehow manage to throw myself into the client and get a feeling of who they are as a person. By making that connection, I am able to create that perfect look just for them. I pride myself on being able to work well under pressure no matter how many players are in the room. Let’s talk about color and balance, curls and texture. There’s more to life than just the inside of a box. I’m an easy going girl who gets to work every day by the ocean. Because I love what I do, I’m not sure if I am working or playing!
